Interim RN Clinical Consultant, DON, MDS/MMQ, IC

Do you have DON, MDS/MMQ, or Infection Control experience? Strategic Care Solutions is seeking detail oriented Licensed Registered Nurses to take on an Executive Leadership role either FT or PT. The candidate must be able to travel between MA, RI, NH. We are a fast-growing consulting company in Stoneham, MA.

Join our Clinical Operations team as a Nurse Consultant and be an integral part of the clinical intervention team. You'll travel to skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, and other locations to improve the care delivery processes for our clients. This individual will provide nurse education, policy recommendations and regulatory monitoring. This will include performing systems and process assessments, designing new systems and processes, creating implementation plans, and teaching/mentoring nursing center personnel. This is a Monday to Friday work week. Some of the additional responsibilities are as follows:

Evaluates completion of MDS to ensure state documentation and transmission are working efficiently.

Monitors the Quality Improvement process and participates in the Pre-Survey process and makes recommendations.

Advises client nursing administration to ensure compliance to staffing budgets and regulations. Reviews staffing levels relative to standards of care, and makes appropriate recommendations as needed.

Participates in hiring, orientation, training, and on-going support of center nurse management staff.

Supports clients during regulatory surveys. Helps design, review and monitor outcomes of plans of correction.

Experience:

  • Current RN license required
  • Long term care experience required (3 years)
  • Covid-19 vaccination required to protect the health and safety of patients, residents, employees, family members and the communities we serve

Job Type: Full-time & Part-time per diem

Pay: $60-$85 per hour
