This course will be led by Scott A. Hemingway, CHPA, a seasoned security and threat-assessment professional and Director of Security & Parking at Kent Hospital, with prior leadership overseeing complex healthcare security operations across multiple hospital systems. A retired Rhode Island State Police Lieutenant (23 years) and former leader of the Governor’s Protection Detail, Scott brings real-world experience from S.W.A.T., hostage negotiation, threat assessment training, and extensive security risk assessments.
